The following lists the suggested minimum hardware and software configuration for the installation of TeamCaster™. Greater performance can be achieved with additional hardware.
Web Server: Microsoft Windows 2000 Server on a PIII 1 GHz machine or better with 512 Mbytes RAM and 30 GB Hard Drive space. Software installation must include:
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
- Internet Information Service (included in Win2K install)
- MSMQ (included in Win2K install)
- .NET Framework (available via microsoft.com)
- .NET Framework SP2 (available via microsoft.com)

SQL Server: Microsoft SQL Server 2000 on a PIII 1 GHz machine or better with 512 Mbytes RAM and 40 GB Hard Drive space. Software installation must include:
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000 + SP3
- .NET Framework (available via microsoft.com)

- Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
- SMTP (included in Win2K install)
- MSMQ (included in Win2K install)
- .NET Framework (available via microsoft.com)
- .NET Framework SP2 (available via microsoft.com)

- All critical updates must be applied from the Microsoft web site.
- All machines must be accessible to each other via a LAN that is connected to a hub with T1 or better Internet access.
- Workload may be expanded by adding additional SMTP Servers and increasing bandwidth.
- Security via Firewall is highly recommended.
